After days of traveling in harsh wind, the Wild Warrior stopped for rest beside a line of Cedar trees. When he lit a small fire, he tossed a piece of cinnamon bark into the flames. The potent scent engulfed the Cedar grove around him. Surrounded by warm fire and the spiced aroma, the cold felt distant and his strength returned. From then on, he carried a small piece of Cedarwood & Cinnamon with him throughout his travels and as a reminder of his strength.
Stinging Nettle-Infused oil: a nourishing hair-loving herb
We cold-infuse Stinging Nettle into Olive Oil for 4-6 weeks, then add American-harvested beeswax and authentic essential oils to handcraft this beard balm. We use Organic & American-grown Stinging Nettle.
Stinging Nettle is a wild-plant superfood known for being rich in vitamins that grow healthy hair, skin, and nails. It can be consumed via tea or tincture. In the case of our beard balms, we infuse it into our oil for a nourishing & medicinal element.
A woody, warm and spiced aroma with Cedarwood & Cinnamon Leaf
Cedarwood Essential oil derives from the bark, needles, and berries of cedar trees. It features a woody scent with warm notes.
Cinnamon leaf derives from trees scientifically known as Cinnamomum. Cinnamon is a common ingredient used in recipes and herbal formulas that date back as far as Ancient Egypt. Cinnamon leaf’s essential oil has a musky and spiced aroma that pairs well with Cedarwood for a sophisticated scent.

We use olive oil and beeswax harvested from American hives in this beard balm to soothe the skin without clogging it. Olive oil is nourishing for the skin. A little goes a long way. Just use a fingertip's worth when applying.
When applied topically, beeswax can create a protective layer on the skin. Beeswax is naturally hydrating. It's also packed with vitamin A to fight against free radicals.

What is the shelf life of a beard balm?

When oils turn rancid (bad), they will smell like Crayons. This is a trick that you can use to determine the freshness of most oils and oil-based products.
