Quite frankly, I keep my Mood Uplift (St. John's wort) tincture in my car all winter as a reminder to take it daily. The seasonal blues creep in sneakily as the days get darker and colder. I find that 3 dropperfuls of this tincture is enough to feel uplifted in my spirits throughout the winter. For me, this tincture is most effective when used regularly, as it does not necessarily alter my mood dramatically upon taking it once. It's almost like routine. I start my car, and as I wait for it to warm up, I shake my tincture bottle, prepare a dropperful, and let that sweet and subtle taste sit under my tongue for 30 seconds before preparing the next. I also make sure to expose my face to adequate sunshine and move my body regularly to support a stable mood during the cold winter.

Our love for the ecosystem
Glam Gardener handcrafts small-batch herbal remedies with wild, organic, and regionally sourced plants. We source this St. John's wort ourselves to ensure the highest quality and the kindest treatment of our environment.
Harvesting wildflowers, even when they are not native, is a task that requires knowledge and ethics.
This means, never taking all of the shrub, because pollinators love its flowers as well.
Research suggests that harvesting plants ethically can even encourage their growth. Anyone with a home garden can see that their plants flourish after a seasonal snipping.
We use traditional knowledge, methods backed by formal education, and best practices from years of wildcrafting to harvest St. John's wort in clean environments both ethically and consciously.
Small batches crafted with intention and integrity
Why choose Glam Gardener products when you can find similar herbal remedies sold in small herb shops and by large distributors like Amazon? We craft small-batch herbal remedies with high-quality local, organic, and wild-harvested plants.
Most of the remedies sold by large corporations are not crafted with the same intention, are not grown in the USA, and are not grown in their natural environment, which diminishes their quality.
Not always, but it is common for medicinal plants grown internationally to be grown using poor environmental and labor practices that are harmful to the earth and the most vulnerable humans across the globe. Ingesting non-organic and non-wild harvested plants can result in harm to our bodies. That’s why we always use organic and wild-harvested ingredients in our herbal products.
Whether we’re crafting a remedy with native mushrooms or invasive plants, we’re doing so consciously by using years of field-based best practices and traditional education.
